Responsible Wood is accredited as a standards development organisation (SDO) by the Accreditation Board for Standards Development Organisations (ABSDO).
ABSDO has established procedures for standards development organisations and audits AFS Ltd’s compliance with these procedures:

Responsible Wood procedures in place (see right) to ensure that the two Australian Standards for which Responsible Wood is responsible (AS4707 and AS4708) are reviewed and maintained in accordance with the requirements set down by Standards Australia.
